The Drawing Workshop w/ Ivanco

It is my great pleasure to invite you all to participate this Sunday's Drawing Workshopsession:  MONOPRINTS/ 7:00-9:30PM Location: Meet in the Harnwell lobby at 7PM /  The Printshop at the Morgan building. If interested, please RSVP Harnwell Faculty Fellow, Ivanco Talevski at: ivancot@upenn.edu

 

Location: Meet in the Harnwell lobby/ The Printshop at the Morgan building 

 

Participants in this session will be introduced to the history of printmaking and to making Monoprints. Each participant will develop two or three works that will be featured in the public exhibition at the Dungeon at Harnwelll at the end of the semester. Monoprints are made by drawing, painting or collaging materials onto a smooth non-absorbent surface and than ran through a etching press and printed on paper. For those interested, we shall meet as a group in the Harnwell Lobby at 7PM on Sunday (October. 28th) and walk over to the Printmaking Studio at the Morgan building (on 34th Street, between Walnut and Spruce.) Materials will be provided.
