On the last day of Black History month, the Bioscience Program Community is holding a discussion on "Clarifying your Motivation for Medicine: What’s the Role of Diversity?" led by Dr. Horace Delisser the Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion at Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. We will be holding the discussion in M-10 Monday 2/28 from 6-7pm. We will be exploring broadly the meaning and importance of diversity in the context of the medical field and how can each of us play a role in making positive contributions in this area. In addition, we will discuss the practical applications in terms of pre-med experiences and how to prepare for essays and questions that will come up for everyone in the medical school application process.
