Actively Moving Forward - Helping Students Through Grief and Loss

Actively Moving Forward (AMF), a student-led organization for grieving students at Penn, is holding a kickoff/ informational meeting for the Spring Semester on Monday, January 30th at 8:00pm in ARCH 110.

Actively Moving Forward includes:

1) a peer-led Grief Support Group for Penn students who are coping with the illness or death of a loved one to connect with others “who get it." Meetings are held every three weeks.

2) a Service Group open to ALL students to attend service events in memory of loved ones (like the “Give a Spit About Cancer” bone marrow drive that we held a few years ago). Throughout the past 4 years, we’ve worked very closely with CAPS and Campus Ministry, as well as organizations on campus like Active Minds and Penn Wellness.

All meetings are held in ARCH 110

January 30th, 8 - 9pm February 20th, 8 - 9pm March 13th, 8 - 9pm April 3rd, 8 - 9pm April 24th, 8 - 9pm
