The Dance Gallery will have regular standing reservations on most nights of the week, please consult the schedule posted outside the door of the space. All other room requests (for the Dance Gallery and Harnwell rooms in general) MUST be received at least 3 BUSINESS DAYS in advance of the requested date via the room reservation request form on this website. No exceptions.
When the Dance Gallery is not reserved, a Harnwell resident may check out the key from the Info Center for 90 minutes at a time. After 90 minutes, the key must be checked in and may only be checked out again by the original party if nobody else is waiting to use the room.
No shoes should be worn in the dance gallery, unless they are made for dancing and will neither mark nor scratch the wood floor.
No moving of heavy objects (such as furniture) across an unprotected floor. All such objects should be placed on a protective mat.
Furniture from other parts of the Harnwell building should not be moved into the Dance Gallery.
No food allowed.
Performing Arts groups who use this space with any regularity – more than once a month over the course of the semester—will be expected to pay “rent” (free tickets, or a free in-House performance).
If the sound system is used, groups are responsible for returning the sound system key to the front desk in a timely manner. Failure to do so may result in the revocation of dance gallery privileges.
Please note that the adjacent room (M21) is not considered part of the Dance Gallery unless someone using the Dance Gallery requires a ramp to enter the space. It is a separate room with its own reservations.
