Latin American Residential Program
(Floor 16 for 2008-2009)
Application: doc | pdf
This program was established by students in 1985 with the goal of
exploring and celebrating Latin American cultures. LARP fosters an
appreciation for Latin American languages, politics, forms of cultural
expression, and most importantly a sense of community. Located on the
16th floors of Harnwell College House, LARP offers various resources for
its residents. Serving as the center for educational and social events
is LARP's Multi-Purpose Lounge. Program activities include study breaks,
Latin dance parties, and trips around Philadelphia. At the cornerstone
of LARP lies "Domingo Social," a bi-weekly event with dinner and
entertainment. At this event, residents socialize and bond after a long
week of classes. It is planned and implemented exclusively by residents.
